First things first: M U S U B I 😍
My favorite is the Spam, Egg and Inari combo. I loveeee bean curd!! We had spam musubi everyday and in-between meals. Perfect snack!
Zippy’s: Chili & Fried Chicken
Norm’s vibes with a Hawaiian twist to it. Delicious and affordable meal, under $10. Zippy’s opened every day, 24/7. If you want to have beers instead of coffee for breakfast, they’re not gonna judge you! 🙂
Breakfast @ YogurStory… Ube Pancakes!
Short wait for brunch, very friendly staff. The food is really good!

Ono Seafood: P O K E!
Hula Dog, also known as Puka Dog.
Okay, you guys. You don’t know how excited I was to go to Honolulu. I used to watch the food channel all the time and this was on my bookmark list since 2014!!! It’s been 6 FREAKING YEARS and I had love at first bite. I’m not even exaggerating! The sweet mango relish with the Habanero Garlic Sauce was the perfect amount of sweet and savory. #mouthgasm, indeed.
Leonard’s
If you haven’t figured it out yet… yes, I’m obsessed with U B E!
Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck: Garlic Butter Shrimp
Mediocre, at best. Super hyped. It was extra buttery and oily. Usually more butter, more better – but not in this case.
Maguro Brothers: Poke & Sashimi
Affordable, freshhhhh to death sashimi meals! Look how vibrant these pieces are??! It’s as good as it looks.
