In European culture, it’s well known for siesta. A siesta is a short nap taken in the early afternoon, often after the midday meal. Businesses start really early, close in the afternoon (for siesta’s) and reopens for dinner.

Barcelona is one of the prime culinary destinations in the world and for San Sebastian — this Spanish city has more Michelin stars per capita than anywhere else. It was one heck of a culinary adventure. There’s no shortage of tapas bars throughout the city, to ensure that you’ll never go hungry. Everything we had was literally mouth-gasm!!

Here are a list of all the places I’ve tried and recommend:

WHILE IN BARCELONA

WHILE IN SAN SEBASTIÁN

WHILE IN VILAFRANCA DEL PENEDÈS

I never was a fan of red wines, but I fell in love after Spain. A glass of wine was cheaper than bottled water! What?! Now if I’m trying to be financially responsible here… I’m going to get wine every time! I really recommend trying Cava and their Red Wines with your meals. It’s amazing! #drunkinlove

Until next time…
