Coachella EATS

Tips for Coachella’ go-ers!

  • It can get pretty hot (90+) in the desert, so make sure to HYDRATE!!

  • Bring an empty camelbak or water bottle – you can fill up at the water stations.

  • Apply and reapply sunscreen.

  • Bring a FACE MASK/BANDANA! It’s so dusty. Your boogers will be BLACK and you’ll cough up a lung for days.

  • Remember to EAT! There’s so much good food at Coachella — My favorites are spicy pie pizza, crab fries, and watermelon popsicles.

  • Unfortunately, Coachella has a lot of pick-pocketers. Be aware of your surroundings! Don’t leave anything valuable in your back pocket. I like to wear a fanny pack on the front so everything is visible.

  • In the event you actually lose your phone on accident, make your phone background a screenshot of your contact information and an In Case of Emergency number. Your phone will most likely be locked and if someone finds it they can at least contact your friend who’s number will be in the background.

  • Wear comfortable clothes and shoes! You’ll thank yourself after because there’s A LOT of walking!

  • Establish designated meet up spots! Reception sucks and you’ll probably wander and lose your friends at some point.

  • When it comes to music, everyone’s taste is different. Although most of my friends share the same taste in music so we usually stick together, but don’t feel the need to have to stay with the group at all times. If you want to see someone else, just go! I like to change my lock screen to my saved line-up schedule so I don’t miss anyone I want to see.

  • Check out the interactive photo ops and art pieces around the venue. I like going early to do this before it gets crowded in the evening.

  • Lastly, Have fun and be safe!
